Privacy Policy
How personal data is collected, used and protected on the Cy Logic Software website.
1. Data controller
This privacy policy applies to the website operated by Cy Logic Software ("Cy Logic", "we"), based in Famagusta, TRNC. Cy Logic Software is the data controller for your personal data.
It explains which data is collected when you visit the site, fill in our forms or subscribe to our newsletter, for which purposes it is processed and how you can exercise your rights.
Last updated: 13 October 2026
2. Data we collect
Contact and quote forms: your name, e-mail address, phone number, company and the information you share in your message.
Newsletter subscription: your e-mail address and preferred language.
Server logs: technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time and the page visited; these logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies and analytics: functional cookies such as your language and theme preference; analytics measurement is used only when enabled and as described in the Cookie Policy.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Responding to your requests, preparing quotes and communicating with you (pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest).
Sending the newsletter (your consent; you can unsubscribe via the link in every e-mail).
Ensuring the security, stability and performance of the site (legitimate interest).
Complying with our legal obligations. We do not use your data for other purposes and never sell it to third parties for marketing.
4. Retention
Requests submitted through forms are kept for the duration of the evaluation and any resulting business relationship, and for no more than 24 months if no relationship is established.
Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are deleted or anonymised after no more than 90 days.
Where a legal retention obligation applies, data is kept until the end of that period.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your personal data, to request its correction or deletion, to object to processing, to request restriction of processing and to withdraw any consent you have given.
To exercise these rights, contact us via the Contact page on this site. We respond within 30 days at the latest after verifying your identity.
7. Security
Your data is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS); access is limited by role-based authorisation and the administration panel requires multi-factor authentication. Regular backups and updates are applied.
No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we recommend sharing only the information needed for your request in our forms.
8. Children
Our site is not directed at persons under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in legislation or in our services. The current version is always published on this page and the "Last updated" date is revised. We inform newsletter subscribers separately about significant changes.
Analytics cookies
If you allow it, Google Analytics 4 measures visits to public pages, visit sources, language and device information, and counts of successful contact or quote submissions. Google may use _ga and _ga_* cookies for pseudonymous browser identifiers. This integration does not send your name, email address, phone number or message text. The administration panel and URL query parameters are excluded.
The Google tag loads only after you allow analytics. Ad personalization and Google Signals are disabled. Your preference is stored in your browser for 180 days; analytics cookies last up to 180 days from their last use. You can withdraw permission below or using Cookie preferences in the footer. Google processes data under its privacy policy, which may involve systems outside your country.
